1. E-Tenders
are invited for the supply of the machinery/equipment and other
items listed from 1 to 28 for the department through the e-tendering
process of Govt. of Punjab For additional details such as items
specifications, important dates etc visit the website:
etender.punjabgovt.gov.in.Tender form, specifications, terms and
condition can be obtained from this website on payment of Rs.
20/-(online payment) as per e-tendering procedure.
2. The tender
will be in double bid system i.e. Technical/Pre-qualification Bids
and Financial/Commercial Bids .The Technical Bid should contain
comprehensive technical details of the equipment
(Brochure/Catalogue), profile of the manufacturer/supplier, main
current clients, experience, tentative delivery period.
Financial/Commercial Bids should contain the price (inclusive sales
tax/VAT), terms and conditions. Technical Bids would be opened first
and Commercial Bids will be opened subsequently of only those
tenders who qualify in the Technical Bids. Incomplete/conditional
Tenders not received as per e-tendering procedure will be out
rightly rejected.
3. Samples of
items (where required as per specification) should be submitted to
the Office of Assistant Director, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary
Medical Store, Jalandhar before closing date of tender (11/6/2012
upto 5:00 pm) and sample receipt certificate should be enclosed
along with tender documents. Otherwise tender will be rejected
straightway.
4. The
e-tenders should be submitted online till date 11/6/2012 upto 5:00
pm and the same will be opened on 12/6/2012 at 11:00 am.
5. The
e-tender must be accompanied with earnest money amounting Rs. 500/-
(online payment) as per e-tendering procedure.
6. Tenderers
are also required to submit a hard copy of the technical bids of
this tender before the closing date 11/6/2012,time upto 5:00 pm at
the office of the under signed i.e. Directorate, Animal Husbandry,
Punjab 17-Bays Building, Sector-17, Chandigarh.
7. The
undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject one or all
offers/tenders and holds the discretion to increase/decrease the
quantity of any or all the items.
8. Successful
tenderers will have to submit a Security deposit of 5% of the
ordered value within the stipulated period of time after issuance of
orders.
9. For participating in the above
e-tender, the contractors shall have to get themselves registered
with
http://etender.punjabgovt.gov.in
and get user ID & password. Bidders who have not registered with
e-procurement portal need to get registered by paying Rs. 2,247/- as
registration fee for e-tender participation and obtain Class 3
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) which are mandatory to

should be having epoxy powder coating fitted on a stainless steel
arm on a stainless steel base fitted with heavy duty castors. It

standard & shall have to be installed & commissioned by the winning
bidder at the Institute premises at Ludhiana. Machine documentation

Firing Iron (set of three)

Set of three, consisting of three irons with
three differently shaped smooth surfaced steel firing interface bits
(1. Conical, 2. Wedge shaped, 3. Triangular with convex surfaces and
a diagonal cutting edge which are screwable on the steel shaft. The
weight of each bit should be minimum 175g, 250g, and 200g
respectively. Each iron is about 12 to 14 inches long (excluding the

Microtome
One
It should be semi-motorized rotary microtome
designed for routine applications in histopathology. It should have
manual sectioning enhanced by a high precision motorized specimen
feed. It should have high precision specimen feeding via stepper.
Motor should provide consistent section quality for large 70 mm
vertical stroke thereby allowing sectioning of super m
cassettes and also support safer specimen
changing. It should have adjustable hand wheel balance system and
high precision orientation system. The hand wheel system should be
able to protect specimen so that the object head does not drop into
the knife when sectioning is stopped.
The optional 80 X/Y
precision orientation system with calibration controls having quick
orientation of already cut specifications (recut). The system should
rapidly return to the exact zero position, while marked by two red
indicators.
